VegasPeak Interactive Ltd. is deeply committed to promoting responsible gambling and protecting the wellbeing of every player on our Platform. We believe that gambling must be an entertaining leisure activity — and we take seriously our obligation to ensure it remains that way.
Our responsible gambling program is built in full compliance with AGLC regulations, RG Check certification standards from the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC), and the iGaming Alberta Act, S.A. 2026, c. I-1.5. We partner with GameSense Alberta, SelfExclusion.ca, and the RGC to deliver industry-leading player protection.
Every VegasPeak team member who interacts with players receives training in responsible gambling awareness, problem gambling identification, and appropriate referral procedures. Our platform monitoring systems analyse player behaviour continuously for signs of harmful gambling patterns, and we proactively reach out to players where concerns are identified.

Deposit limits are one of the most effective tools for staying within an affordable budget. VegasPeak lets you set:
Set your limits via Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Deposit Limits. Limits take effect immediately. Increases to limits are subject to a mandatory 72-hour cooling period before they take effect — your existing lower limit remains in force during this window. Decreases take effect immediately. You may cancel a pending increase at any time during the 72-hour window.
Set a maximum duration per gaming session (15 minutes to 8 hours). When reached, you are automatically logged out and shown a responsible gambling message. A 5-minute warning notification appears before expiry. Daily session time limits (e.g., maximum 2 hours per day) can also be configured. Increases to time limits require the same 72-hour cooling period as deposit limits.
Wager limits cap the maximum amount you can lose within a defined period: daily, weekly, or monthly. When your loss limit is reached, real-money gaming is suspended for the remainder of the limit period. A clear notification confirms the suspension and its duration. Increases to wager limits require a 72-hour cooling period.
Reality checks are periodic on-screen notifications during play that remind you how long you have been gambling and summarize your session's financial activity. Configure intervals of 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Each notification displays:
Reality checks cannot be bypassed — they require active acknowledgment. We recommend enabling them for every session, particularly for extended play.
A cool-off period temporarily suspends your gaming access without permanently closing your account. Available durations: 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 weeks. During a cool-off:
Cool-off periods cannot be shortened once activated. You may request a longer cool-off at any time. Your account reactivates automatically upon expiry — you receive an email notification before this occurs.
If you feel you need more than a 6-week break, we strongly recommend using our self-exclusion tools rather than repeating cool-off periods.
Your Activity Statement provides a complete, transparent record of all gambling activity on VegasPeak, accessible at any time via Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Activity Statement. It includes:
Filter by date range (up to 12 months) and export as PDF. If you identify concerning patterns, use our other RG tools or contact the Helpline immediately.
Platform-level self-exclusion permanently closes your VegasPeak account and prevents future registration. Activate via Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion, or contact [email protected] or 1-888-2583-542. Processed within 4 hours. Upon activation:
Minimum exclusion period: 6 months. Options include 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or permanent. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed under any circumstances. Requests to shorten or reverse an exclusion require a 7-day reflection period and multi-channel confirmation, and are only considered after the minimum exclusion period has expired.
SelfExclusion.ca is Alberta's province-wide voluntary self-exclusion program, administered in partnership with AGLC. Registration excludes you from all participating licensed online gaming sites in Alberta simultaneously.
Register online at selfexclusion.ca or by phone at 1-866-332-2322. Minimum exclusion: 1 year; options up to permanent.
VegasPeak receives regular updates from the SelfExclusion.ca register and is required to screen all registrations and existing accounts against it. Matching accounts are immediately closed. Any winnings obtained by a self-excluded individual circumventing this process are forfeited and donated to problem gambling support programs as required by AGLC.
Problem gambling affects not only the individual but also family members, friends, and colleagues. Signs that someone you care about may have a gambling problem include unexplained financial difficulties, increased secrecy about finances, missing work or family events without credible explanation, unexplained mood swings or anxiety, and selling personal belongings.
What you can do:
VegasPeak operates a zero-tolerance policy for underage gambling. Our measures include: age verification at registration (mandatory date-of-birth confirmation); full-screen age gate on first visit; KYC identity verification before first withdrawal; and immediate account closure and fund return if underage gambling is detected.
Recommended parental control tools:
VegasPeak's responsible gambling program operates alongside our AML compliance framework and proprietary Integrity Monitor. The Integrity Monitor analyses player behaviour in real time, flagging accounts exhibiting sudden large increases in deposit frequency, rapid deposit-and-withdrawal patterns without significant play, session lengths or wager amounts exceeding established RG thresholds, or access from IP addresses inconsistent with the player's registered Alberta address.
Flagged accounts are reviewed by our compliance team who may contact the player, restrict account access, request documentation, or report to FINTRAC or AGLC as required by law. Our AML and RG systems share data to provide a comprehensive view of player activity, enabling more effective identification of both problem gambling and financial crime.
Enhanced due diligence including source-of-funds declarations is required for accounts with cumulative deposits exceeding $10,000 CAD in any 30-day period, as mandated by AGLC and PCMLTFA.
